As you may have noticed, the website and forum were temporarily unavailable. This was due to the domain name expiring; Magradoth did not receive any notice from the registrar and simply forgot. It happens and everything is back in order now.
21 Aug 2008 20:36 - Wrath of the Lich King opening cinematic unvealed
At the Leipzig Games Convention, Blizzard showed the opening cinematic for the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King. You can stream it or download a high-resolution version of it at the official site. There is also a mirror. up over at Joystiq.
The cinematic is something of a departure from earlier cinematics. As promised earlier, Arthas is shown as the central figure of the expansion and no classes such as the Deathknight are showcased. Nonetheless, the video is of high quality as usual and looks great.

A few people deep inside the close-friend circle of Blizzard Entertainment that are currently testing an early alpha version of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King have leaked a surprising piece of news: Blizzard is planning a World of Warcraft sequel.
Apparently, in a bizarre twist, you will be able to play a character playing World of Warcraft. Among the touted features are such things as browsing the EULA and making your character make his character move around in World of Warcraft. I know making interesting new content can be tough, but is this a new low for Blizzard?

Well things are never quiet in the world of Valheru  and this week has not been an exception. You would have had to be very observant to notice all the comings and going, or fast asleep not to notice some of them  .
First the comings  or should that be recomings for some people. There are several new recruits and all have been made to feel very welcome, these include, not exclusively I might add, Nutorian, Leonidez and Faxekondii  . Oh there were some others who if you blinked I think you might have missed them as I think they were attached to a bit of elastic the way they were in and out quicker than Flynn  .
Now the recomings I am sure Slain the man who thinks he must be obeyed has been working his magic as we have seen some homecomings, welcome back to Kregan, Broodjekaas, Kanzi and Nomir  . If I have missed any of the old ones returning blame the dwarf well everyone else does  . Rumour has it that Slain is waving his wand and there may be others who will return, I don’t know if the prospect of Slain waving his wand is any type of enticement or not .
The forums have taken on a new colour and a new look which has come about due to the hard work of Thaurin, and there is currently a tidy up in progress thanks to Qaki so if you find something’s missing ask him and his quick fingers.
Well the ups and downs now, has that got you interested . A big congrats go to Lorgus who has been promoted to Alexes Chief, and seems to be on a mission to PUG his heart out, read the forum for his post . Also Slain had a blast of insanity and promoted Mabs to Ysera Prophet the rumours are not true I really did not shout at him much when I was drunk and in Kara  .
And now to the down to those who have left us good luck and fight bravely, you will be missed  . I did note that they did say to call on them for help anytime so I don’t think they can escape so easily.
Now whats been happening raid wise, well if you have been asleep or hiding you would have missed the Kara runs. I think no run has had the same people in so its nice to see the loot going to a good cause. However get your mains ready and prepped as we are off to ZA this week and plans are a foot so please check out your char on http://be.imba.hu/ get them enchants sorted, those pots made and those gems in. If you are struggling at all ask we are a friendly bunch of nutters and someone will help or know the answer.

30 May 2008 20:04 - Site upgraded!
As you may have noticed, the Valheru site and its forum have seen a major upgrade. This concludes an age-long pledge to Magradoth, and my soul can now be free once more.
Aside from running the currently latest version of phpbb, the forum style now matches the front-page. The style itself was originally created by Ghuyajil in 2005 for the first Valheru that started on the Crushridge WoW realm. Although slightly altered to keep with the changes that Valheru has seen over the years, the overall feel has been kept the same.
Front-page news works again and is linked to the forum. We hope to keep you informed on everything that interests you. Planned still are a Calendar of Events, that will list planned raids with the ability to easily sign up for them with your characters.
We hope you like the change of winds, so let us know in a reply beneath this post. If you encounter any problems, let us know and we will fix it as soon as possible.
